She came in after years of slowly adjusting her life to pain… not the other way around.

Little by little, she had started accepting things like not being able to turn her head to check her blind spot.
Not sleeping great.
Not moving freely.
Just “making it work.”

And she wasn’t new to care—she had already tried multiple chiropractors.

So at some point, it stopped feeling like something that could change… and started feeling like something she just had to live with.

A 9-year-old boy…
who says his body hurts more often than it doesn’t.

Not one spot. Not one injury.
His joints. His whole body.

He’s 9.

He’s sitting out of wrestling—not because he doesn’t want to play… but because his body won’t let him.

And all the scans? All the labs? “Normal.”

This beautiful woman is shining!!! ✨

For an entire year, she couldn’t lift her right arm. It slowly crept in… until one day she realized she just couldn’t reach up anymore.

She came in for low back pain—not expecting anything to change with her shoulder.

And then… she went to grab something from the cupboard and realized… she could just do it. Just like that. 🙌🏻

After ONE adjustment.

I have to tell you something…

This week, a potential new client chose not to reschedule after Monday 😓

Snow day. Five kids home. Life moving fast.

I made the call not to drive into Athens and to keep care to Wednesday.

Most of you made that same call too…

But one of you didn’t.

One of you showed up.

And I missed it.

Not because I don’t care—but because I got home and got pulled into life. Groceries, dinner, mom mode… and I didn’t communicate.

That’s on me.

Because you trust me to show up—and that matters.

And the truth is… I was really excited for her to begin care.

I know the impact this work can have. I see it every day—how it changes how you move, how you feel, how you show up in your life.

And in one moment of miscommunication, that opportunity shifted.

Maybe even her confidence in choosing SHINE.

And that doesn’t sit lightly with me.

So this is me owning it.

Asking for grace as a human…
