Aspirus Health has broken ground on the new Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital & Clinic. The 35,000-square-foot facility will bring expanded emergency, inpatient and primary care services to the community, including a 10-room emergency department, 10 inpatient beds, an on-site clinic with 12 treatment rooms, plus imaging, lab and pharmacy services. Construction is underway and expected to be complete in September 2026.

As part of the $227 million Aspirus Wausau Hospital expansion, we’re adding 48 new intermediate care beds to ease capacity constraints and reduce delays for patients with complex needs. This important upgrade will enhance patient care and help our teams deliver faster, more efficient treatment.

It’s one step in our multi-phase project to expand and improve services for our community, now and into the future.
