This is WOC nurse week. What is a WOC nurse? It is a nurse with additional education in Wound care, Ostomy care and or Continence care. These nurses have gone above and beyond their traditional nursing education to specialize. They use evidence based practice to bring about change in their patients lives. They advocate for their patients through research or policy change. They go above and beyond to find answers and create change. Thank you to all of my fellow WOC nurses out there.
