Dr. Monica Kiefer, RN, BSN, BLS, FASA, Dipl. (ASA), DC
She has lived in the Wauseon, OH area for most of her life. Dr. Kiefer attended Evergreen Local schools and worked, served, worshiped in the local Wauseon community. Prior to attending Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO, Dr. Kiefer completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio. She currently upholds a license as an RN. While at Logan College of Chiropractic, Dr. Kiefer also completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science. During her studies at Logan College of Chiropractic, she was interested in being trained in many techniques to treat a variety of conditions, including the completion of her diplomate in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Society of America. Dr. Kiefer has mastered treatments for all and enjoys working with patients of every age but she excels at treating women’s issues and the pediatric population. While attending Logan College she excelled at her treatment of patients and was recognized at graduation for her accomplishments. She takes most pride in her internship at St. Louis’ Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Clinic. Dr. Kiefer intends to work with the local schools to build children’s awareness of health and how chiropractic can help! A complete fee schedule is available upon request. Currently, Select Wellness Center is working to become “In-Network” for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medical Mutual. We have been approved for Front Path Health Insurances and are currently in the application process to become a non-participating provider for Medicare and Ohio’s Buero of Workman’s Compensation. If you have health insurance and would like to use it, we would be happy to call and find out your benefits. We also offer a significant bookkeeping savings for those whose insurance does not cover. If your personal circumstances make your care a burdensome hardship, please make us aware of it, we will make every effort to work with you. Insurance
Dr. Kiefer and Select Wellness Center are 'in-network' with Medical Mutual, Paramount and FrontPath health insurnaces. We also accept Medicare patients as a non-participating provider. HOURS

We make every effort to keep wait times to a minimum, please help by keeping your appointments. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are subject to a $25 fee. If the doctor feels that additional testing is required for your treatment, we will refer you to an outside lab. For any radiology testing, blood work or urinalysis you will be referred to The Fulton County Health Center or your personal office preference. We ask that you try to complete the additional testing in a timely manner so that the reports will be available to the doctor prior to your next appointment. The results will aid in the development of your personalized treatment plan. Referrals
