This week our crews focused on a quarterly inservice with devices that were purchased with the EMS funding assistance grant. These purchases helped us fill gaps in patient care equipment that allowed us to focus on improving the service. All purchases came from needs found in actual call quality assurance reviews.

Today was a day of mixed emotions as we say Happy Retirement to Dave Shepard. He has been a staple at WCEMS and has finally reached his last shift. We wish him luck and happiness in the much earned time off.

We are scheduling interviews for next Thursday, Aug 7th. We are looking for casual EMTs and AEMTs who want to hone and gain 911 experience with a progressive department. If that sounds like you get your applications in ASAP.
