Happy National Assisted Living Week at Harwood Place!

Harwood Place kicked off National Assisted Living Week on Sunday, September 7, 2025, with cake and celebration. Residents continued the fun with bingo and happy hour on Monday, and today enjoyed a special fine dining lunch featuring shrimp cocktail, tenderloin, twice-baked potato, green beans, a roll, and chocolate lava cake. A big thank you to our residents and staff for making Harwood Place such a wonderful community. Stay tuned for more exciting events throughout the week!

Residents at Harwood Place Independent and Assisted Living enjoyed a special visit from Ziggy, the dog of Kaelyn, the Life Enrichment Director. The visit brought smiles and joy to everyone, adding a heartwarming and engaging moment to their day. 🐶 💞

Thank you to our friends Schlitz Audubon Nature Center for coming to present Monarch Magic. Harwood Place independent and assisted living residenta gained valuable knowledge about butterflies and thoroughly enjoyed an engaging presentation.

This week we celebrated our 100+ residents with a party and a surprise visit from our 1-year-old friends in Childcare! From 1 to 100, we believe there are always opportunities for new experiences and making new friends! ❤️🥳
