A 1 year old cat presented for episodes of wheezing. X-rays taken by the primary vet showed an enlarged pericardial sac. An exploratory was performed on this patient with peritoneal-pericardial diaphragmatic hernia to remove omentum, gallbladder, and 90% of the liver from the patient’s chest cavity. She’s now able to breathe and play as all 1 year old’s should be!! 🐈
