Let me introduce myself!
I’m Dr. Rebecca Gnas D.C., the owner and chiropractor at Vibrance Family Chiropractic.
I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I landed in my beautiful new space inside Authentic Birth Center! I’m still getting used to working as a one-woman show after 11 years of working as an associate Chiropractor. I love the new change of pace, the ability to shape my practice to best serve my clients and new challenges that come along with being a business owner!
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 9 years and am a mama to an energetic 2 year old boy. If you call me on a day I’m not at the center you’ll likely hear him calling for me in the background! Being his mama is my favorite “job”!
Pretty early on in my career I realized how much I enjoyed getting to work with women through pregnancy (and beyond). It’s a time like no other where the body is undergoing so many changes physically and emotionally to accommodate and create a new life. It made sense to me that extra support and care would be needed during all of these new changes. I quickly saw the need to further my training to offer this specialized care.
So, I became certified in the Webster Technique. It is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that is centered on balancing the pelvis. I work with the bones, muscles and ligaments to help achieve this balance which can contribute to a safer and easier birth outcome. The technique is gentle, yet effective and also of course helps to create a more comfortable pregnancy. What’s not to love?!
