Headed to Madison on Tuesday to testify on behalf of licensure for WI music therapists!!’ 🙌 this licensure would provide protection for our clients and wi consumers, ensuring that those who are claiming to do music therapy are TRULY board certified music therapists. Our licensure bill is heading to the Assembly Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention on Nov 4th at 2pm at the Madison State Capitol! 🏛

Today our team represented their favorite musicians and artists!

Today was a fun and exciting say at Healing Harmonies! Not only was today Wacky Wednesday with a potluck for lunch, but we officially rolled out and trained on our new EHR (electronic health records) system! ✅

This is HUGE for us as we have been trying to find the right system for over SIX years for the team and has involved a lot of time, energy, and expenses to get to this point.

Having this system is going to streamline processes, making documentation faster and easier with the ultimate goals of
1. Getting it DONE
2. Streamlining with = less chance of our therapists burning out
3. Making our documentation and communication more HIPPA compliant and
4. Improved opportunities for streamlined systems for our clients and their families.

And how great to be able to learn these systems on our new ipads 💻

It’s going to continue to be a work in progress but the team is so excited to have this so we can fulfill our responsibility to our clients of timely and accurate documentation while creating more time for us to do the things we ❤️… being creative and serving our clients!
