The Lay Camillian Family held their annual Tea for Life, a special gathering in support of this year’s local beneficiary, Life's Connection - a pregnancy care and support center. Guests enjoyed a presentation about the organization’s mission and the meaningful impact it has on families in our community.

The afternoon featured handcrafted treats and warm cups of tea, creating space for meaningful conversation and shared purpose. The Baby Shower Drive is still underway, collecting essential baby items such as diapers, clothing, wipes, and other necessities to support local families in need (near the East residence entrance). Contributions have already started arriving — including beautifully handknit baby clothes and other thoughtful donations. Together, residents are helping provide comfort, care, and support to families served by Life's Connection.

Today, Father Marquette and Louis Jolliet “visited” our Independent Living Operations meeting to launch our Lenten journey together! Inspired by the historic 1673 expedition of Louis Jolliet and Father Jacques Marquette, we are setting out on a virtual mission journey that mirrors their remarkable route of exploration and faith.

We couldn’t resist stopping by the Dis-Chords ukulele group's rehearsal — and we’re so glad we did!

Their energy and enthusiasm were on full display as this talented group practiced for their upcoming concert in late March. What started months ago with Independent Living resident Carolyn Limjoco and just six players has grown into a vibrant ensemble of more than 20 members, including one of our very own Marquette Students in Residence.

From first-time players to seasoned strummers, each member brings something special to the group. We’re so proud of how the Dis-Chords continue to grow, build friendships, and share their talents with our community!

St. Camillus was honored to host and welcome the Catholic Professionals Forum of Metropolitan Milwaukee today.

Patrick Masterson, Vice President of Global Supplier Quality at Husco and board member of Men of Christ, served as the featured speaker. He shared how his reconversion in 2011 renewed his commitment to living out his Catholic faith within his family, workplace, and community.

Through monthly breakfast gatherings, members connect with fellow Milwaukee-area business leaders, engage in meaningful conversations about civic and community issues, and deepen their faith. We were grateful for the opportunity to host such a meaningful and impactful event.

Mardi Gras 2026 was a huge success, with around 150 Independent Living residents joining the celebration!

Our Mardi Gras party was truly one for the books. From the vibrant themed décor and festive accessories to the delicious drinks and appetizers that kept the good times rolling, every detail set the tone for an incredible night. The energy was unbeatable—especially with live music from Bourbon Street Stompers bringing the true spirit of New Orleans to life.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and helped make the evening so festive and unforgettable!

Love is in the air at St. Camillus! Tables were set with flowers and festive décor as Memory Care residents and their loved ones gathered for a special Valentine’s luncheon. With live guitar music playing, champagne poured, and a delicious meal shared together, residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled with conversation, familiar songs, and time spent simply enjoying one another's company.

St. Camillus recently welcomed Marquette University High School freshmen to campus for a special retreat focused on strength and intergenerational connection. Students spent time with Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, experiencing our Intergenerational Mobility Program firsthand — joining workouts, conversations, bingo, and Winter Olympics–themed games that brought energy and encouragement to all involved.

Typically pairing residents with students from Marquette University and Wisconsin Lutheran College for personalized athletic training, the program took on a new spirit as the high schoolers stepped in — the session was even named in their honor, "Go Hilltoppers!" It was a meaningful day filled with shared experiences, new perspectives, and memorable moments across generations.

This February, we’re spreading the love! Residents and staff are coming together for Pastoral Care's 'Hugs & Kisses' celebration, sharing hugs, handshakes, and even a sweet Hershey’s 'Kiss.' It's a heartwarming reminder of the importance of human connection, as everyone takes time to both give and receive affection in a fun, meaningful way.
