We had a wonderful turnout, and guests received helpful insights from Shorewest on today’s real estate market and what to expect when preparing to list your home. Camo Crew shared how they make simplifying feel good by focusing on reuse, repurpose, recycle, and donate—keeping disposal as a last resort.

And when it’s time to make the move, Smart Moves talked about taking take care of every detail, making the process feel lighter, easier, and far less overwhelming—so you can focus on settling in and enjoying your next chapter.

St. Camillus witnessed a unique recognition of resident and lector, Mary Ann Mueller, at the age of 100 at the San Camillo Chapel. Bishop James Schuerman, Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, honored Mary Ann with a Certificate of Appreciation along with a gift from the Pastoral Care Department.

Mary Ann, a mother of 10, a grandmother of 27, and a great-grandmother of 15, has been proclaiming the Word of God in liturgical services at St. John Vianney Parish and St. Camillus for over a half a century! Bishop Schuerman thanked Mary Ann on behalf of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for her many years of ministry. He reminded the community that the ministry of the lector is an important role in the liturgical celebration of the Church.

“Mary Ann must be the oldest lector in the world,” said Fr. Naveen Pallurathil, MI, the Director of St. Camillus Pastoral Care, in his welcome speech. “I would have invited Pope Leo XIV to honor Mary Ann because of her unwavering commitment to the Church’s ministry and the faith community at an advanced age.” The celebration was further enriched by the presence of Fr. Leandro Blanco, MI, Superior of the St. Camillus Religious Community, along with numerous priests and sisters who joined in honoring her remarkable service.

Resident Denny Kelly is now sharing his talent with the St. Camillus community. His artwork is proudly displayed in the hallway connecting the East and West Residences - at the Robert and Carol Cassell Art Gallery.

Although he’s loved art since childhood, Denny discovered his passion for painting in retirement while taking classes in California. Today, he creates vibrant, abstract pieces inspired by color and creativity, with no two works alike.

Our Versiti Blood Drive was a huge success — thanks to our amazing staff and residents, 22 pints of blood were donated! Each donation makes a real difference in our community, and we’re so grateful to everyone who participated.

Our very own Veteran's Club set up a wonderful opportunity to learn about the benefits offered to our veterans.

Attendees learned about the benefits available to those who have served, including services, eligibility requirements, and how to access the support they’ve earned. It was a great chance for veterans and their families to ask questions and connect directly with VA experts.
