Dear Friends,
Following a thorough evaluation of all possible options, the difficult decision was made to close Natchez Trace Youth Academy effective October 2024. The decision to close came as a result of the challenges we experienced in recruiting and retaining qualified professional staff to serve this particular patient population, coupled with decreasing demand for this type of unique care.
We are committed to supporting a smooth transition for residents and staff. The safety of all is our top priority. We appreciate the dedication of our staff, and the community partnerships we have built, as well as the opportunity to have cared for and positively impacted so many lives over the years.
