Happy Birthday to our friends at The Village Brew Coffee House! 🥳☕️🍯

Is It possible to spend too much time at a coffee shop? Idk, but my siblings and I sure are pushing the limit! 🤣

In addition to being the first business to partner with us and sell our local honey, they have been the best small biz Piketon could have! The coffee is great, the baristas are helpful, and you ALWAYS run into someone you know! 💛🤍

Spring 2021 ➡️ Fall 2020

We have our first batch of Spring Honey bottled and ready to go! Notice the difference in coloring? 🍯

Honey gets its color from the pollen that a hive gathers to make it. Because plants blossom at different times of year and bees collect honey nearly year-round, a single hive can produce radically different colors of honey from season to season.

The common wisdom is that light honeys are mild while dark honeys are heavy and rich. (source: The Local Hive)
