🗓️ Two Years Ago Today…
Two years ago today, we welcomed our very first client through our doors. We didn’t have a long track record yet — just a vision, a lot of heart, and a deep commitment to doing this work the right way.

Today, we’re continuing to grow, learn, and serve — and we’re incredibly grateful.
Grateful for those who believed in us in the beginning.
Grateful for those who trusted us when we were just getting started.
Grateful for every client who has walked this path with us since — and those who will in the future.
This work is an honor. Thank you for the trust. 🩶

Today we honor those who serve behind the badge.
On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we want to say thank you to the men and women in law enforcement who show up every day...often unseen, often under-recognized to protect their communities.
We recognize the long shifts, the missed holidays, the weight of responsibility, and the moments that stay with you long after the call ends. Your courage, integrity, and commitment do not go unnoticed here.
To every officer - active, retired, injured, or fallen, know this:
You are seen. You are valued. You are not alone.
At Magnolia Meadows GRIT, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with law enforcement and their families, not just today, but every day. 💙

🙏 Our Hearts Are With Waverly
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, loved ones, and the entire Waverly and Humphreys County community following the tragic events of January 2nd. This loss has deeply shaken our hometown, and we stand together in grief, compassion, and support.
We are incredibly grateful for the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and all first responders who have answered the call with professionalism, courage, and care during an unimaginable situation. Your service, especially in moments like these, does not go unnoticed.
To the deputies, investigators, dispatchers, EMS, fire, and all responding service members: Magnolia Meadows is here for you in whatever capacity you need. Whether that’s support, resources, a listening ear, or a place to decompress...our doors and our hearts remain open.
Please continue to lift the affected families, responders, and our community in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this together. 🤍🕊️

As we step into a new year, we want to pause and acknowledge something important:
For many first responders and veterans, the New Year doesn’t feel like a clean slate...it feels heavy. The weight of last year’s calls, missed moments, sleepless nights, and everything that didn’t get said often comes along for the ride.
At GRIT at Magnolia Meadows, we believe the new year doesn’t have to start with perfection or resolutions. It can start with honesty. With asking for help. With choosing to take care of yourself the same way you’ve taken care of everyone else.
Whether you’re just beginning to think about support, actively in treatment, or continuing the work you’ve already started...we’re here. Not just today, but all year long.
Here’s to a year of healing, growth, and showing up — one step at a time. 🚓🪖🚑🚒

🎄✨ Happy Holidays to Our First Responders & Military — Active and Retired ✨🎄

To the men and women who keep showing up...on duty, on call, or carrying it quietly at home, we see you.
The holidays can hit different when you’re a first responder or military member.
Family expectations. Financial pressure. Shift work. Little sleep.
Memories from past holidays tied to calls, losses, deployments, or trauma.
And that unspoken weight of needing to stay strong for everyone else.
If this season feels heavier than usual, you’re not weak, you’re human.
At GRIT at Magnolia Meadows, we know the holidays aren’t always merry. That’s why our support doesn’t end when the decorations come down. We’re here all year round...for the tough seasons, the quiet moments, and the days when you realize you might need a little backup.
If you’re struggling, you don’t have to do it alone.
If you’re doing okay, we’re glad you’re here.
If you’re somewhere in between, we understand.

From our GRIT family to yours: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your resilience. Wishing you peace, rest where you can find it, and the reminder that help is always available.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deputy Terri Sweeting-Mashkow, who was killed in the line of duty on November 21st, 2025 while faithfully serving our community.

Deputy Mashkow dedicated 25 years of honorable service to this agency and to the people of Indian River County. Her loss is felt deeply by every member of our agency, as well as by the community she served with pride.

We ask the public to keep Deputy Mashkow’s family, friends, and colleagues in their thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. We also extend our gratitude to the first responders, medical staff, and community partners who assisted during today’s tragic events.

As we grieve, we remain dedicated in our commitment to honor Deputy Mashkow’s legacy by continuing the work she believed in so strongly - serving with integrity, courage, and compassion.
