We were busy honoring and celebrating our veterans this past Veterans Day and didn’t get a chance to make a post, but we still want to take a moment to recognize what this day truly stands for. 🇺🇸

Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice Day, marking the end of World War I on November 11, 1918, the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Over time, it became a day to honor all those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

To every veteran , thank you. Your courage, dedication, and service protect the freedoms we often take for granted. ❤️🤍💙

🎉🐾 Happy 7th Birthday, Kali! 🐾🎉

Today we celebrate Kali, our loyal, four-legged teammate and emotional support canine who has been part of the GRIT family since May 2024. From the moment she stepped paw onto campus, she’s brought calm to chaos, smiles to stress, and a whole lot of love to our first responders and staff alike. 💙

Kali has an incredible gift for knowing when someone needs a nudge, a lean, or a quiet moment of comfort. She reminds us daily what unconditional support looks like—and that sometimes, healing doesn’t come in words but in a wagging tail and steady gaze. 🐕‍🦺
