🌽 Awww Schucks... It’s That Time of Year! 🌽 Sweet corn season is officially here, and our Bartels residents were all ears! With husks flying and laughter echoing, they rolled up their sleeves and dove into the delicious task of corn shucking.

Many hands made light work—and a whole lot of fun—as we prepped for a golden meal later. Who knew teamwork could be so tasty?

⛳ It’s a hole in one… and then some!
Mini golf, disc golf, and lots of laughs—our residents embraced the summer spirit with a series of golf-themed games that brought everyone together. Whether it was a perfect putt or a wild frisbee toss, the joy was in the journey (and the giggles)!💚

💍 A moment to remember! 101-year-old James Kerr was all smiles during a heartwarming visit at Bartels from his great-granddaughter, Isabelle Daniels, and her new husband—just one day after their wedding. 👰🤵

The newlyweds lovingly dressed back up in their wedding attire so Jim could share in the joy and see them in all their bridal-day glory. It was a beautiful gesture that made this milestone even more meaningful. 💚🎉

Here’s to love that spans generations!

💚The Bartels team recently made a 💦SPLASH💦 with a staff fundraiser with a good old fashioned dunk tank to coincide with National Senior Citizens Day!

All funds💰raised went toward the Good Shepherd Fund (charity care to assist residents who have exhausted their assets).

🎯Thanks to all of the staff, residents, family and friends who hit the bullseye🎯 and helped us raise over $1200.💰💚

From prize-worthy woodworking to adorable puppies, these future leaders showcased talent that’s as wonderful as a blue-ribbon pie. Thanks for bringing the Fair flair to Bartels—now that’s what we call intergenerational awesomeness! 💚🐾
