Please join us in congratulating Brad on his 15-year anniversary with our agency! 💜

For the past decade and a half, Brad has been a vital part of our mission through his work at the Waverly Trinkets & Togs Thrift Store. He's met countless donors and accepted the generous donations from the community while also working alongside our clients as they gain valuable work experience in our thrift store. He's also been part of recycling program at the thrift store, helping to divert hundreds of thousands of pounds of goods from the landfill.

🚨 Health Alert: Measles Case Confirmed Near the Cedar Valley🚨

As an organization that supports people with disabilities, young children, and other vulnerable individuals, we take public health seriously—and we want our community to stay informed.

Iowa health officials have confirmed a case of measles in Eastern Iowa, with several potential exposure sites identified.

What Iowans should know about Measles:
✅ Spot the symptoms: High fever, cough, red eyes, runny nose, and rash
✅ Check your vaccination status: Two doses of the MMR vaccine are 97–99% effective
✅ Traveled recently? If you’ve been somewhere with measles cases or may have been exposed, monitor closely.

If you think you have symptoms, call your healthcare provider before visiting a clinic to avoid further exposure, especially to individuals who are immunocompromised or unable to be vaccinated.
