Miss Martha’s Therapy Testimony
“My time here truly meant so much to me. From the very first day, everyone made me feel welcome and cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The staff were not only helpful, but genuinely kind and compassionate. They treated me like family, and that made all the difference in my recovery. I am so thankful for the love, support, and wonderful care I received.

✨ Employee Spotlight: Miss Linda Poole ✨
Meet Miss Linda Poole — better known around Humphreys County Care and Rehab as “the housekeeper girl with the bandana.”
Miss Linda wears a different colored bandana every day, and it all started early in her career when a beloved resident didn’t recognize her without one. From that day on, the bandanas became her signature look — and a sweet way to make sure residents always know it’s her. ❤️
Of course, the bandanas also serve a practical purpose! With so much time spent bending, picking up, and cleaning — bathrooms, toilets, and everything in between — they help keep her hair out of the way while she works hard to keep our facility looking its best.
What Miss Linda loves most about her job is making residents feel comfortable and cared for. She takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.
Miss Linda, we appreciate your heart, your hard work, and those colorful bandanas that brighten our halls every day! 💙

Two of our sassy seniors strutted their stuff at the Loyces Fashion Show, and they had an absolute blast! Proof that age is just a number-you can chase your dreams and rock the runway at any stage of life. A huge thank you to Loyces and all the kiddos who participated in the fashion show! They were so sweet and kind to our ladies. As our ladies said "They were just the sweetest and so kind to us " it truly meant the world.

Love is in the air today at HCCR! 💕
Our annual Sweetheart Lunch was such a beautiful reminder of what true love really looks like — years of commitment, friendship, patience, laughter, and standing by each other through every season of life.
There’s something so special about watching our residents sit hand in hand with their husbands and wives, sharing a meal, smiling at memories, and still choosing each other every single day. ❤️
Moments like these are why we do what we do. Celebrating love never gets old at HCCR! 💘

HCCR Employee Spotlight :Anna Sadler Here is what Anna had to say about becoming a CNA and HCCR... Okay.It will be 7 years ago in August when I found out that taking care of people is my god given purpose and I have loved getting to make a lasting impact in other's lives ever since. Coming to HCCR in October 2025 was a great decision - it has been an awesome experience so far and i'm so grateful to be making friends with staff and residents. I hope to stay a while. I just moved to Waverly from Dickson at the beginning of this year so if they'd like to include that for anybody that might want to become friends or show me some cool places thatd be nice 😂 I live alone with my beloved child, I mean cat, Magnolia Bea. I'm in school for social work and plan to become a Medical Social Worker in a nursing home to continue taking care of residents in a different way.

Employee Spotlight on JC Hopkins!
JC has been a CNA for three years and says he chose healthcare because he loves helping people in need. He’s worked at just one other facility before ours and has lots of experience working with mental health and severe dementia residents.
When he’s not at work, you’ll find JC arm wrestling—he even competed in the 2025 Tennessee State Championship in the 198-lb amateur class!
He’s also a dog lover through and through and has two pups of his own named Dempsey & Velma.
