We offer unique vinyasa flow as well as deep stretch, yoga basics, gentle, Yin, Ashtanga and Restorative. Kris Knox, 200hr ERYT, YACEP created Waxhaw Yoga to bring the benefits of yoga to people who never would have thought they'd step into a yoga studio. A safe, welcoming space for all people to come to move the body and quiet the mind. Whether you have an established practice or haven't ever tried yoga, this is the place for you. Josette and Kimberly have showed up to their mat here at WY over 1000 times!! πŸ‘πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

Josette attends class 6 days a week and Kimberly attends Monday through Friday.

The dedication these ladies have to their yoga practice is something to admire. They have learned first hand the benefits of a regular yoga practice and when you show up every day for practice like these ladies do, you can really feel it when you dont! πŸ’ͺ

"What does your inner voice whisper to you in the moment of giving up?
The specific inner chatter that urges you to quit your flow is the signal you've fallen into your default zone.
You want to start to pay attention to when you've entered your default zone, because recognizing it is where the possibility for transformation lies.
A pose is a perfect opportunity to confront what you do when things get hard. When you're in a posture, you're in the action of life, your default will show up right away as soon as you're squeezed.
Consider however, that your thoughts don't have to be connected to your actions. You have thoughts, but you are not your thoughts , and they definitely don't have to run the show.
