Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus made a special early stop at Plantation Suites in Macon, bringing holiday cheer, warm smiles, and a whole lot of Christmas magic with them! 🎅🤶✨

Our residents were absolutely delighted by the festive visit—hallways filled with joyful laughter, bright smiles, and the true spirit of the season. Moments like these remind us that it’s never too early for a little Christmas magic at Baptist Village! ❤️🎄

🎃 Halloween at the J. Olan Jones Healthcare Center wasn’t just tricks and treats… it was a full-on autumn symphony of joy, color, and community spirit. Our residents of the J. Olan Jones Healthcare Center soaked up every bit of the fun as families, friends, and team members came together for an afternoon that was nothing short of magical. 🍁✨

Each department brought their A-game—transforming the courtyard into a playful maze of themed booths. Our residents and staff “trick-or-treated” their way through the Old West, wandered into a pumpkin patch, dodged plays on the football field, and even strolled through Candy Land (with zero calories and maximum delight). 🍬🏈🌵🎃

We even had a traditional fall-festival photo area where our residents could capture the moment and make sweet seasonal memories. 📸🍂

Fall fun was absolutely had by all—and the smiles from our J. Olan Jones Healthcare Center residents said it best. ❤️

🎃🦁✨ Ahead of Halloween, our residents at the J. Olan Jones Healthcare Center in Waycross were treated to a magical visit from Dorothy and the Cowardly Lion — better known as Christian Thompson and her golden sidekick, Cooper! 💛🐾

Residents and staff always light up when these two make their monthly rounds. Their visits bring warmth, joy, and plenty of smiles to our halls.

Because truly… there’s no place like home.
There’s no place like Baptist Village. ❤️🏠👠

There’s nothing like a little creativity and a lot of laughter to bring people together!
Our amazing residents at Village Lake Suites in Waycross had a wonderful time decorating pumpkins last week — sharing stories, and plenty of smiles. 🧡

These special moments remind us that joy lives in the simple things — a touch of paint, a bit of glitter, and the company of friends.

🍗 King or Queen of the Wing Contest! 👑

On October 15th, our J. Olan Jones Health Care Center turned up the heat for the “King or Queen of the Wing” contest — and what a delicious competition it was! 🔥

We had six mouth-watering entries: Lemon Pepper, Hot Honey BBQ, Spicy Teriyaki, Spicy, Hot Buffalo, and Plain Fried. Our eight judges had quite the challenge because every single one was absolutely delicious!

After the votes were tallied, everyone got the chance to taste and enjoy the wings — and the fan favorite flavor turned out to be Teriyaki for the win! 🥇

🏆 1st Place: Robert (aka Wing King) – Dietary Department
🥈 2nd Place: Vickie (Hot Wings) – Activities Department
🏅 Honorable Mention: Rudolf – Broad River Therapy

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, judged, and came out to support our talented chefs! 👏
