Thank you all so much for trusting me with your care as your chiropractor. I truly appreciate it and hope I’ve been able to make a difference for you in some way.

Now, I wasn’t sure how to celebrate this milestone, but for some reason, an old joke came to mind: ‘West Virginia—1 million people, 15 last names.’ So, just for fun, I decided to put together a little ‘clan list’ to see which last names are leading the pack.

Don’t worry—no first names or personal identifiers are included, so we’re all HIPAA safe. 😉

Here’s the breakdown:

Honorable mentions: (5 patients each): Booth, Chaney, Francis, Marshall, Sanders, Staley, Williamson.

7 : Ferguson, Ramey.
8 : Merritt (direct relatives were excluded—no cheating here!).

11 : Blankenship – fun fact, my childhood best buds = Smith and a Blankenship.

12 : Queen – oddly enough, no Kings on the list.
16 : Adkins – I thought they’d take the win… you probably did too.

As chiropractors, our main competition often comes from over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen, Tylenol, and others. While I try to be careful not to demonize or make direct recommendations about these meds—staying within my scope of practice—I do find myself discussing them frequently with patients.
