Empowering Mobility: Orthopedic Success at Arbor Ridge

We are proud to share the inspiring journey of a 95-year-old female patient admitted to our center from Chilton Medical Center. After a fall, she was diagnosed with a right hip fracture and underwent surgery by Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Robert M. Massella. Her complex medical history, including hyperlipidemia, hypertension, coronary artery disease, CKD, and pacemaker insertion, required specialized care and intensive therapy services.

Under the expert guidance of our internal clinical team, led by P*P Dr. Sung Wock Sun, Physiatrist Julia Javier, PA, and our in-house Specialty Program Nurse Coordinator, along with our dedicated nursing team, this patient has made remarkable progress. Our commitment to best practices in post-fracture management, reinforced by our AHS Fracture Program, ensures optimal outcomes for patients like her.
