🎓🐾 Big cheers for Ziggy, our newest Main Line Deputy Dog graduate! 🐾🎓

When Ziggy first started training with his handler Marissa, city life in Philly was overwhelming—sirens and crowds left him shaken. But with time, love, and hard work, Ziggy found his confidence.

Now, he's a fully certified service dog who can fetch Marissa’s phone, keys, or cane (yes, he knows the difference!) and even helps her on the stairs. He’s one of the most consistent, reliable dogs we’ve ever trained!

Meet Dena and her service-dog-in-training, Stella. This wonderful pair just began their journey with Main Line Deputy Dog, learning side by side how to build a service dog partnership that fosters confidence, independence, and connection.

At MLDD, we teach people with disabilities to train their own service dogs—with guidance, support, and a community cheering them on. We’re thrilled to welcome Dena and Stella to the MLDD family and can’t wait to see how far they’ll go together.

Watch Dana and her Great Dane, Dexter, practice essential obedience skills at our training center. These “stay” and “settle” commands might seem simple, but they’re critical for service dogs to remain calm and dependable in busy public spaces. When Dexter first joined Main Line Deputy Dog, he was scared of everything—but with time, training, and trust, he’s made incredible progress.
