How it works:

-Place a donation in the jar of the Doctor of your choice located at the front desk at the clinic.

-Each donation goes directly towards Optometry Giving Sight.

-On the last day, October 31st,2025, the doctor with the MOST donations will be chosen to be the star in a video where they do not know the day nor hour the ambush will occur.

Hi everyone, this is Dr. Ronhovde. For everyone who has shared kind words, prayers, and messages of support for my daughter, thank you. My oldest daughter is fighting leukemia--AML--at Children's in Omaha. She is doing very well (and may be a favorite patient on the floor 😄). She is surrounded by an amazing team of physicians, nurses, and professionals.

My schedule in the office has changed to Monday-Thursday, and there may be times I have to reschedule on short notice or step out of an exam room to take a call. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your understanding when this happens. I also have requested patients who are ill with a cough, fever, or other sign of infection to reschedule for another appointment date. I will wear a mask when seeing patients to help reduce the risk of my daughter getting infections, as her immune system will be very vulnerable during treatment.

Myself, Dr. Hopkins, Dr. Sindelar, and our whole team plan to do everything we can to accommodate our patients when I am out of the office. Once again, thank you for your understanding and support!
