I get this question all the time.
And my honest answer? It doesnโ€™t really matter โ€” as long as youโ€™re getting it done! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Hereโ€™s how I like to think about it:
โ˜€๏ธ Morning workouts: Great for getting it out of the way, but your body might feel stiff when you wake up. If you choose mornings, start with a proper warm-up and stretching routine.
๐ŸŒ™ Evening workouts: Perfect for winding down after a long day. Just be mindful that intense exercise too close to bedtime might keep you energized a little longer.

โœ… Golden rule: Some exercise is always better than none. Find the time that fits your schedule, your energy levels, and your lifestyle โ€” and stick with it.

Parents, Letโ€™s Talk About Teen Back Pain

Yesterday, we had a 15-year-old lacrosse player (Fogo position) come in for persistent back painโ€”pain heโ€™d been dealing with for months.

Too often, when kids complain about back pain, parents do what we naturally do:
โ€œPut some ice on it.โ€
โ€œTry some heat.โ€
โ€œRest for a day or two.โ€

We mean wellโ€”but sometimes back pain is more than just soreness. Especially in growing teens, there are real risks: spinal structures, discs, and vertebrae can be affected.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If your childโ€™s back pain lasts more than 1โ€“2 weeks, donโ€™t wait it out.
Early assessment by a professional can prevent small issues from becoming long-term injuries.

As a parent of four boys myself, I get itโ€”life is busy, kids are tough. But if your teen is still complaining, listen. Their pain may need more than a heating pad.

I get this question all the time, and my answer is always the same:
You need to actually spend time in a bed before you buy it.

I know the โ€œbed in a boxโ€ trend is super convenient, but your mattress is where your body recovers every nightโ€”itโ€™s worth taking the time to test it out.

๐Ÿ’ก Skip the super-soft options (they feel nice for a minute but donโ€™t always offer the right support).
โœ… I recommend beds with a combo of coils + foamโ€”not just foam alone.
Support = better sleep, better posture, and fewer aches in the morning.

Old-school mattress stores might not be trendy, but they let you try before you buyโ€”and that matters!

"Whatโ€™s the best time of day to exercise?"
Honestly, I get asked this all the timeโ€”and my answer is always the same: the best time to exercise is whenever youโ€™ll actually do it.

That said, if youโ€™re trying to be more intentional about your timing, hereโ€™s a simple way to think about it:

๐Ÿ’ช Morning workouts can be great if you want to get it done and out of the way. But keep in mind, your bodyโ€™s usually a bit stiff when you first wake upโ€”so if youโ€™re going to train early, make sure you stretch properly (weโ€™ve talked about this a lot!).

๐ŸŒ™ Evening workouts can be a good way to wind down the day. Some people find it helps them relax and sleep better.

At the end of the day, bounce-back exercise is better than no exercise at all. Just move your bodyโ€”whenever it works for you!
