What a FANTASTIC morning for a Race!!!! We had record numbers show up for this year's Chicken Run... 203 Total Participants!!! THANK YOU all for coming out and participating!

I am going to do 3 separate posts today so the results are easier to go through! Sometime next week we will try to get all of the photos shared to Facebook as well!

Here are the WINNERS of each category as well as the Top Male and Female Finisher and a picture of our First 5K Participant to cross the Finish Line, Jacob Cofer with a time of 15:56.5 (I'm pretty sure that is a new record for the Chicken Run, but I will have to look back over the years! - Way to go!!!)

We are just one day out from the CHICKEN RUN 5K/1 MILE RACE!

Attached is the ROUTE! We are using the same route that we used last year. There will be signage along the route to keep you on the right path, as well as volunteers in bright neon safety vests spread out to help direct participants and traffic. The 1 Mile participants will start the race with the 5K participants, however the 1 Milers will turn around at Kinship Pointe when they see the sign and return.

There is still time to get registered! You can go to http://getmeregistered.com/WayneChickenRun to register online or stop by the Wellness Center and register in person. The cost is $30 through the end of today! Tomorrow morning we will take registrations between 6:00-6:45AM at $35.

PACKET PICK UP: bibs and shirts for those that registered before the cut off date will be available to pick up at Providence Wellness Center between 4-7PM today or between 6-7AM tomorrow morning before the race!

CHICKEN RUN PACKET PICK UP is set for Friday, July 11th between 4-7PM at Providence Wellness Center or Saturday, July 12th between 6:00-6:45AM before the race. Packets include race bibs for all 5k participants and shirts for those that registered before the cut-off date. Shirts will not be available before 4PM on Friday. If you have questions, please email hkeller@providencemedical.com or call 402-375-7927.

There is still time to register!!! $30 through Friday, and $35 that morning!
