This wonderful female patient in her late 30s presented for rhinoplasty consultation, interested in softening the appearance of her nose. Her surgical goals included lifting, refining, and deprojecting her nasal tip. We pursued primary open rhinoplasty. Her rhinoplasty results are fairly mature at one year out from surgery, but she will continue to observe decreasing swelling and increasing nasal tip definition with time. This wonderful 18 year-old female patient presented for rhinoplasty consultation, interested in improving the appearance of her nose. We pursued primary open rhinoplasty with alar base reduction to decrease the size of her nose as well as reduce her dorsal hump, refine and lift her nasal tip, and lessen the width and size of her nostrils. These photos illustrate her surgical results approaching one year out from surgery. The patient possesses thick nasal skin and is still healing; she will continue to observe refinement of her surgical results in the years to come. We are so thrilled with her beautiful, natural results.
