Ready. Steady. Sofia. 💛

Sofia is 5 years old and fighting DIPG — a pediatric brain tumor — with more courage than most of us will ever know.

Her mom Nina is our physical therapist and one of our closest friends here at New Jersey Spine and Wellness in Wayne, NJ. On December 30th their world changed forever.

Sofia has already completed 30 radiation treatments at Sloan Kettering. Their family now needs to travel out of state for clinical trials — which means time, sacrifice, and costs no family should ever face alone.

🤰 One of the best parts of what we do is helping expecting moms stay as comfortable as possible during pregnancy… because growing a human is kind of a big deal.

🦴 Our goal is always to help keep the body moving, balanced, and feeling its best while it goes through all those changes.

👶 This week we got to celebrate Rachael welcoming her second baby — a beautiful baby girl!

😊 Seeing our patients go from pregnancy check-ins to baby announcements is always one of the most rewarding parts of our job.

📸 I even got a picture before she “popped”… which is always a fun and tricky tradition around here. I‘ve been missing “the photo” with the majority of our pregnant moms year 🤦‍♂️

😂 And to the other moms we took care of this year… don’t worry, we didn’t forget about you. You all know who you are.

❤️ Helping moms stay comfortable through pregnancy is truly one of the things that makes our office special. We’re so grateful to be part of these moments.
