You hoped in August that your child's "About Me" profile would lead to inclusion.

Unfortunately, "About Me" profiles get forgotten, and real inclusion doesn't happen.

If you want your child included, it starts by intentionally connecting the dots inside your child’s IEP.

I'll show you how on Thursday’s Facebook Live.

You'll discover how to connect strengths to present levels, annual goals, accommodations, and instructional strategies, so your child is safe, happy, and learning alongside classmates in general education.

It'll be pretty amazing!

Alt Text: Hand-drawn diagram on a desk titled “With a little help from AI: Connect the dots in your child’s IEP.” A blue “Strengths” circle points to four colored circles labeled “Present Levels,” “Goals,” “Accommodations/Modifications,” and “Instructional Strategies.” Beside the paper, a tablet reads “AI Assistant: Suggesting strategies…,” with a pen and coffee cup nearby.

🍎✨ From paraprofessional to certified teacher — without leaving the classroom.

Georgia's Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Program is opening doors for paraprofessionals to earn teacher certification while continuing to serve students in their own schools.

✔️ Paid, classroom-based pathway
✔️ College coursework + mentorship
✔️ Built to strengthen local communities

Since launching statewide in November 2024, the program now supports 132 teaching apprentices across 29 school districts — and recently celebrated its first graduates in Crisp and Ben Hill counties.

"Georgia's teacher pipeline must reflect the needs of our local communities," said State School Superintendent Richard Woods.

This is grow-your-own done right. 🌱
