Just a little public announcement here. Many of you probably have heard that a woman shoplifted from a large number of businesses downtown yesterday. She did indeed lift items from adorn as well. This hurts on so many levels. Being a small business owner isn’t some big glamorous job. We are hardworking women and men who have to keep tight tabs on our inventory and who personally feel the impacts when that gets taken. Situations like this feel like a violation and for it to be so widespread seems especially upsetting.
I wanted to post this here because you might notice us all a bit more on edge when you come in the next few days. You might notice cabinets locked that weren’t before. Please understand we just are all feeling all the feels and trying to figure out how to best respond. We are a little downtown filled with what I think are incredibly kind and trusting business owners who genuinely just want to be here and open in service to our customers. We will not be so on edge soon I promise but until then know if we seem to be watching everyone a little more closely it is not you it’s the situation.❤️
If you love a store downtown be sure to send them a little extra kind thoughts today, we sure would appreciate them.

Hello all. I hate making these posts but at this point I have to. We’ve had a lot of theft in recent months. It’s getting quite out of hand. Today kind of put me over the edge. This lovely human came in a stole a whole bunch of items while my employee was helping other customers. If anyone knows her, please, please DM me. All will be kept confidential.
