The Maury Regional Health athletic training team is hosting its third annual Coaches Clinic, designed to help coaches prepare athletes for a safe and successful season!🏈⚽⚾

🕙Saturday, May 9 at 9 a.m.
📍Maury Regional Annex (located across from Maury Regional Medical Center at 1223 Trotwood Ave. in Columbia)

Open to coaches of all sports and age levels — as well as community members interested in coaching, leadership and athlete safety — the clinic will feature expert-led sessions on topics including building stronger athletes, staying safe during summer conditions and preventing youth substance use.

Maury Regional Health team members provided employee health screenings at WireMasters. These screenings consisted of recording measurements, calculating body mass index, taking blood pressure, drawing labs and testing flexibility and grip strength.

Maury Regional Health, in partnership with the Maury County Sheriff’s Office and the Maury County Prevention Coalition, hosted a successful Drug Take Back event on Saturday, April 25.

A total of 60 community members participated, safely disposing of 178 pounds of expired or unneeded prescription medications. The event also featured family-friendly activities and complimentary lunch provided by community partners, creating a fun and meaningful way to support public safety!

Get ready for the upcoming sports season! 🏈⚽🏀

Marshall Medical Center athletic trainers will be hosting athletic physicals for students on Wednesday, April 29, from 1:30–5 p.m. at the Medical Office Building (1090 N. Ellington Pkwy. in Lewisburg).

Open to students entering 6th grade and above who plan to participate in Marshall County Schools athletics. Students who participate in the Special Olympics may also attend. Physical forms are available through students’ prospective coaches.
