⭐ Activities Professionals Week Spotlight: Brittany Shriver ⭐

As we continue celebrating Activities Professionals Week, we’re highlighting Brittany Shriver, Activities Assistant at Waynesburg Nursing & Rehab. Brittany originally joined the team in January 2024, took a brief break, and returned in November 2025 — bringing her energy, creativity, and care back to the residents she loves.

Brittany says what she loves most about her job is that “every day is a surprise.” Plans may change in an instant, but the bonds she’s built with residents and her team make each day meaningful. While she enjoys all activities, she especially loves Bingo, a favorite among residents that brings excitement and laughter multiple times a week.

She also treasures the teamwork and closeness of the department, describing it as a “family dynamic full of love.” Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband, being a dog mom to her chihuahuas Lyra and Luna, and baking.

Thank you, Brittany, for the joy, care, and dedication you bring to Waynesburg every day! ✨

We’re continuing our Activities Professionals Week spotlights by highlighting Rain Judy, Activities Assistant at Waynesburg Nursing & Rehab. Rain has been with the team for roughly three years and loves finding ways to brighten residents’ days — even if it means going the extra mile to make someone smile.

When asked about special moments, Rain said it’s impossible to pick just one; it’s the residents themselves who make each memory meaningful. She describes Waynesburg as having an “abundant cast of characters,” where there’s never a dull moment. Rain’s dedication, creativity, and commitment to making every day joyful for residents and staff make her a valued member of the team.

It’s Activities Professionals Week, and we’re honored to highlight members of our amazing team at Waynesburg Nursing & Rehab! First up is Evelyn Rose, who joined our team in July 2025 and has quickly become a favorite among residents. She loves interacting with residents and hearing their stories, and her favorite activity to host is Bingo — she enjoys seeing residents socialize and support each other.

Evelyn also values her supportive team, who are always ready to lend a hand. Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, writing, playing video games, and visiting friends. Thank you, Evelyn, for making every day brighter for our residents and team! ✨
