We are very excited to have Jackson Grimes as our guest speaker this coming Tuesday, August 12th at 6:00. He will be speaking on the renovations that he has been performing on the Valley Chapel Cemetery for his Eagle Scout project. Jackson is a Senior at West Greene High School and the son of Judge Jeff and Kim Grimes. The meeting will be held at the Cornerstone Genealogy library on Greene Street. All are welcome to attend!

On Tuesday, May 13th at 6pm, Mary Beth Pastorius will be giving a presentation on “Waynesburg’s Movie Theaters: Once Plentiful” at the Cornerstone Genealogical Society in Waynesburg.

This talk is part of the Cornerstone Genealogical Society's monthly meetings, which feature topics of local historical interest. The public is invited to attend these meetings, held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6pm in the old log cabin courthouse adjoining their library.

Cornerstone Genealogical Society will be meeting at Waynesburg's Washington Street Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 8, for our monthly meeting. Joyce Conklin will be giving a presentation on the church's stained glass windows. The program starts at 6:00 PM and all are welcome to attended.

What a wonderful Field Trip to Waynesburg University's Paul R. Stewart Museum. Professsor Rea Redd gave a wonderful historical tour to this hidden gem! Ancient fossils, pottery and gems were on full display. We encourage you to take advantage of what our hometown university has to offer! This Tuesday, September 10, we will hold our monthly meeting at Waynesburg University's Paul R. Stewart Museum. Starting at 6:00 PM, museum director Professor Rea Redd will give a historical tour of the museum. Meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
