Learn the science behind and benefits of infant massage as well as specific strokes and routines to complete with your baby all from a video course that can be completed at your convenience! Course links expire after 30 days and includes two phone or video calls with me for the duration of your course to ask questions, provide feedback, etc.

Even though birth is a beautiful, miraculous thing for us, it is truly a traumatic experience for our little babes! Beginning infant massage with our newborns in a very gentle, reserved manner can have a positive impact on their ability to cope with everything they undergo once they are "earth side".

I want to get candid about my personal infant massage experience with my son. It did not initially go as well as I had hoped. I didn’t see or feel results instantly which disappointed me. I wanted to be perfect and natural at this the very first time. I mean, I’m certified in this so I SHOULD be, right?! Wrong. It felt awkward and, at times, seemed like I was trying to massage either a stiff wooden board or a slithering snake😂At first I focused too much on doing all the correct strokes and saying all the right things that I devalued one of the biggest pieces of infant massage- the bond and connection with my son. With consistency, patience, and grace for both of us, our massage time is now a beautifully intimate part of our evenings. I’ll never get tired of rubbing my son’s legs and looking down into his big brown eyes as he stares up at me with gentle contentment. Although the techniques took some time to master, it took no time at all to realize the good that can come from an opportunity to just “be” with my sweet boy!

Hello and welcome!

My name is Kiley Spencer and I'm so glad you stumbled upon this page! Here you'll find information regarding the benefits of infant massage, success stories and, most importantly, how to get involved in an infant massage parent-baby class! This page and the classes are a never ending work in progress, so I will always be open to suggestions, questions and advice! I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a second to like and share this page!

A little about me-- I am a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI-2) through WINC (link below to their website). I'm also a certified occupational therapy assistant that works in the education world with a heart for all things babies and pediatrics. I'm from Waynesfield, Ohio, I'm a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a momma to our precious boy who has brought my CIMI-2 certification to life! I became an infant massage instructor prior to having my son. After experiencing massage personally with him, I now have a newfound respect and love for the infant massage practice and all of its benefits for baby and mom/caregiver! Infant massage is about more than simply rubbing your baby's tummy; it's a beautiful practice that involves loving touch and communication to form a lasting bond with your child.
