We are discussing what sort of protocols we will be implementing at the office where I work once we reopen. (This will likely still be a while. We just want to have a jump on what needs to happen.)

What would you need in order to feel comfortable receiving a massage?

How soon do you think you would be comfortable so long as these things were in place?

What would you need to see with your own eyes as it's done?

Would you pay more so you could have one in your home and avoid contact with anyone besides your therapist? How much seems fair to you, considering the travel time, plus the set up/tear down time?

Your feedback would be much appreciated!

ATTENTION MASSAGE CLIENT UPDATE:

As many of you may have heard, the Governor extended the Stay Home Order until May 8th. At that time, the first phase of businesses reopening will begin. Massage Therapy practices are not part of this phase. Two to three weeks after the first phase begins, depending on how the status of Covid-19 is, we will move into phase two. At that time, we will hopefully be able to open. There is no definite date for when we can open.

I will continue to update everyone if any changes occur.

After thoughtful consideration, I have made the decision to postpone my practice for the next few weeks. I will re-open April 7th, conditions permitting. This decision is not made in panic or fear. It is based on an informed assessment of the available recommendations and guidelines being practiced in our community. Over 50% of my client base falls into the high risk category.
