While not providing care, Ben can be found exploring his other passions: the outdoors, music and food, as well as spending time with his wife and three kids. The team is growing! Meet Olivia Manning! Olivia graduated with a B.A. in Psychology with a 3-year focus in Exercise Science from Winona State University. Throughout her studies, Olivia knew she wanted to work with individuals to care for their own health and wellness, optimizing the potential in both their mind and body!

Outside of helping others, Olivia loves hanging out with her dogs, exercise, travel, finding new recipes, or just enjoying time in nature.

With her complete of training in Ben Kuns protocols, and her exercise science knowledge, Olivia is well-equipped to collaborate with her clients in delivering optimal care for their lifelong health and wellness — she is welcoming new clients! We’re excited to Welcome Grace to the BenKuns Bodyworks team! Grace was born in Buffalo, MN. She received her BA in Dance and English at the U of M Morris. After experiencing knee injuries in 2016, she turned to natural healing methods for recovery. Along with other remedies, bodywork with Ben made a huge impact on her knees, overall health, and body function. Grace joined Ben in training to learn his corrective neuromuscular bodywork technique after experiencing such great success in treatment. She is excited to help others find the same improvement and healing! Outside of BenKuns Bodyworks, Grace performs Flamenco and creates contemporary Flamenco-inspired choreography around the Twin Cities.

Who is Ben Kuns

Ben has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2007 and has a great passion for corrective bodywork, education and helping people to see their bodies function optimally all the way through life.

He specializes in corrective neuromuscular therapy - a technique that aims to understand how structural misalignment and repetitive stress on your body cause it to wear down. At the beginning of each session Ben will check in to see how your body is presenting that day and will begin with hands on assessment, looking for restriction and imbalance that are indicators of the functional compensation and stress that have been developing in your body. A 60 minute session will focus on deep loosening and specific corrective techniques in a full body manner starting with the spine and trunk, then to the rib cage and pelvis, then the major joints and extremities. Ben will communicate closely with you to ensure that each session is addressing your specific concerns as well as comprehensively moving your body out of compensation and imbalance into patterns of greater balance, function and lasting integrity. Ben’s corrective technique has been shown to effectively eliminate pain patterns and establish patterns of longevity for patients who participate in regular care. All sessions are fully clothed.

Ben is a positive, enthusiastic and proficient practitioner with a great ability for communication and education. He loves the outdoors, music and food.
