Colleen brought the fun today with an entertaining show full of playful props, laughter, and creativity! 🎭✨ The joy didn’t stop there—everyone got to tap into their artistic side during a special painting session, with our furry (and very colorful!) friend making a surprise appearance. 🐾🎨

♻️ A fresh step toward a greener Folkestone! 🌱
Today we proudly dedicated our new recycling center in the Bistro, making it easier than ever to sort trash, recycling, and composting—one more way we’re caring for our community and our planet.
Members of our amazing Eco Team was on hand to swap out the old for the new, ensuring everything was ready to go. To mark the occasion, Culinary Director Joe and Campus Administrator Jodi officially cut the ribbon, celebrating this meaningful step forward in sustainability.
Small changes make a big impact, and we’re excited to continue building healthier habits together—going forward, every meal comes with an extra serving of environmental care! 💚

This morning, we kicked off the day with a magnificent breakfast outing — full of smiles, laughter, and delicious favorites. 🍳☕ Then this afternoon, we enjoyed a relaxing scenic drive while taking in the beautiful surroundings, complete with a yummy snack along the way. 🚐🌳🍪

We had a wonderful evening at our Family Fun Night, enjoying delicious pizza from Maggie’s and spending quality time together with loved ones. Events like these make Folkestone feel even more like home. ❤️

🎨 "Arts & Crafts on 5" Giving Back 🛏️💙
Folkestone Arts and Crafts on 5 recently had the pleasure of welcoming leadership from My Very Own Bed, an incredible organization that provides beds, linens, and comfort items to children in need throughout Hennepin County.
During the visit, our group proudly presented Meg Hobday with four newly handmade blankets, along with a generous monetary donation for My Very Own Bed. This donation was made possible thanks to the kindness and generosity of our FS shoppers at our November sale—your support truly makes a difference!
