Wayzata Medical Spa is seeking a skilled, self-motivated and knowledgeable Advanced Aesthetician to provide high-quality skincare services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for aesthetics and be knowledgeable about the latest skincare trends and techniques. They should possess professionalism, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients. As our next Esthetician, you will evaluate patient skin conditions, educate them on treatment plans, perform medical spa treatments in a relaxed, collaborative and professional environment. Applicants must have an advanced esthetics license, be driven, work autonomously and be self-motivated. Choose working hours Monday thru Friday, no weekends.
Job Responsibilities
Performing various skincare services including facials, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, laser vein removal, chemical peels, laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, IPL, etc.
Evaluating skin conditions and explaining the different services based on what is best for the client, how it affects their specific skin type.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Recommend and sell suitable skin care products
Strong customer service, listening, and communication abilities
Knowledge of sanitation procedures and state laws, HIPPA Compliance
Continue education programs to keep your skills up-to-date with the newest methods and latest skincare trends and techniques.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 5-years' experience in a skincare clinic or spa.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent
Advanced Esthetician certification and licensure from the state
Must provide previous employment references
Preferred:
Experience with Cutera lasers (although not required)
