Parker County proclaims November 7 - 13, 2021 as Veterans Week.

Freedom is not free, and with this observance, we are reminded of the price that has been paid and continues to be paid to protect the very ideals that are the foundation of this state and nation. During this week of recognition, we honor the courageous service and selfless sacrifice of our veterans who have served, and those who lost their lives while fighting for a greater cause. Parker County residents are encouraged to recognize all of our veterans for their devoted service and unwavering commitment to freedom, and to never forget the sacrifices they made and continue to make so we can live in a country of hope and opportunity.
