PCHD Telemedicine Program & Campbell Clinic Attend WISD’s Annual Convocation

Earlier this week, Parker County Hospital District’s Telemedicine Program, alongside Campbell Clinic (a service of PCHD), was thrilled to welcome back the WISD team and help set the tone for the new academic year at Weatherford ISD’s convocation.

Our Telemedicine team greeted staff with plenty of great giveaways, and shared how our school-based MedPod carts on each campus provide fast and convenient care—not only for students, but also eligible staff—right where they work. The Telemedicine Program services more than 50 Parker County schools and connects staff and students to medical providers remotely for minor illness consultations, testing (COVID‑19, strep, flu, RSV), and quick treatment that helps reduce emergency room visits and keep school days on track

Meanwhile, Campbell Clinic was also on hand offering giveaways and valuable information on our Medicare‑certified rural health clinic in Weatherford. Serving patients of all ages, Campbell Clinic accepts most commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare. With a sliding‑fee program available, our providers deliver primary care, chronic disease management, preventive screenings, vaccinations, telemedicine services, and in‑house lab testing for insured and uninsured individuals alike

We’re honored to support WISD staff this year, and look forward to being your trusted healthcare partners—whether in school clinics or at Campbell Clinic.

Men’s Health Matters — Parker County Health Screening Recap

Parker County Hospital District’s Outreach Program recently hosted a Men’s Health Screening at Parker County Precinct 3, empowering local men to take charge of their well-being by identifying and understanding key health risks.

This impactful event was sponsored by Bad Enough To Wear Blue, whose support helped make these vital services accessible to our community.

The event provided free screenings and valuable information on:

• Cholesterol Levels
• Blood Pressure
• Blood Sugar
• Weight
• Grip Strength

Participants also received guidance on lifestyle adjustments — including smoking cessation, healthier diets, and reducing alcohol intake — to help reduce their risk of chronic disease and live healthier lives.

These vital checks target "silent" risk factors like high blood pressure and blood sugar levels, which often show no symptoms but can lead to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and more. Our goal is to raise awareness and provide tools to help every man in our community take proactive steps toward better health.

A big thank-you to everyone who participated and to Bad Enough To Wear Blue for championing men’s health in Parker County!
