Hey horsey people. Weatherford Comancheros Riding Club will be having a playday Saturday, October 25th @ NOON. We have plenty of trees to park under and stay out of the sun, we have airconditioned restrooms so you can pull your britches back up, IYKYK…. Check the flyer for the events and the address. We always have an amazing concession with great food served up, just the way you like it. We have a huge 150 x 300 outdoor arena and take great pride in making sure that it is the surest footing around. We love having new people and we strive to ensure everyone has a fun time doing what we all enjoy, riding.. We keep things moving so you can make plans for later that evening, so no worries about that.

Also make sure and bring candy for the kids to go trailer treating during the playday!!

Hey guys, WEATHERFORD COMANCHEROS RIDING CLUB is having a playday Saturday, September 13th at NOON. We will run 5 events (on flyer) and we will run exhibitions before each event. We will also stick around and have Pole exhibitions after the playday. We have a great arena with some of the nicest, safest footing around, we take great pride in that. The Concession stand has some amazing fare and there is always someone there with a friendly smile. Plenty of trees to hide under if you happen to get warm and with Fall starting it shouldn't be too hot. We run an efficient playday and have tons of fun people there always willing to lend a hand. If weather could be an issue, please be sure to call before you haul. The numbers are on the flyer. Love meeting new people and whether you run like the wind or are just learning, we would be happy to have you. Hope to see you there and thanks so much for sharing....☺

Ok Finals Peeps... The worklist and contestant list is out. Check out the link below and find your spot! There are 17 PBRC riders and 34 WCRC riders for a grand total of 51 riders out of the 127 riders at finals. That means that our little ol' district will consist of 41% of the riders this year! We absolutely need to be where we're supposed to be, when we're supposed to be there. And, if they are calling for someone who isn't where they need to be, chances are pretty high that, it's one of us so just step in and help! ;-) The countdown is on!!! :-D

It's NARC&SP Finals time!! District 3, which consists of WCRC and Poor Boy Riding Club, has bunches of people attending this year and we are all looking forward to it!
Just a few things to note:
#1 - There will be a work list posted. PLEASE, be sure to be in your designated spot before you are expected to be there. If you are not able to work your spot, you can appoint someone else to do it on your behalf but it is your responsibility to make that happen. IF YOU ARE JUDGING, BE SURE TO KNOW EVERY DETAIL OF THE RULES FOR THE EVENT YOU'RE JUDGING! We don't want to have to hear them calling for any WCRC or PBRC workers and we don't want to have any protests! ;-)
#2 - If there are ANY issues with events/runs, we have to go through our district's rules representative. That's Kim Bishop Otwell (me actually - lol!). My number is 817-917-4035. Save it! If you have ANY questions or concerns - really about anything Finals related, please, don't hesitate to contact me.
And finally - #3 - Behave and clean up after yourself! If you see trash - even if it isn't yours, pick it up. If there are personality conflicts, refrain from action at all cost.
We will likely be the biggest district there. Let's be amazing and helpful and the best people out there both in the arena and out of it!

Guess what!!!!!! WEATHERFORD COMANCHEROS RIDING CLUB is having their playday Saturday at NOON, BUT HERE IS THE TWIST. We are having it at the Bowie Arena in Bowie Texas. Now some of you are scratching your heads wondering "what", but here is the thing. The AASP&RC and the NARC&SP associations which are our "Mother Club's", so to speak, hold finals each year. They are held in June and September each year and I have spoken to so many people about these finals and how much fun we have. The question is always, "where is it", tell me about it. This is where they are held. This is an opportunity for you to see the place that the finals are held and why we love going so much. This is an opportunity to scout out what we are talking about when we say that there are hook-ups for your trailers/campers and there are stalls for your beloved animals. This is where the magic happens. Take this opportunity to come get a look at where all the fun happens and where so many lifetime memories are made. For those of you that are getting ready for the September finals, this is a perfect opportunity for you to get some practice in before the finals in a few weeks. We will be having Relay & Cross Flags exhibitions. This is an opportunity to practice one more time before the big day AND for those that want to just come play, this is a very safe and surefooted arena, just like the one we have down in Weatherford. Larry Mitchell and his posse will be getting that ready watered and tilled to perfection, so you don't have to worry about any slips, trips or falls due to the footing. For our WCRC members, this is not a point playday so don't feel pressure to come but for those of you newbies that have been asking, this is where it all happens... You would love it, and I will be happy to give you information on the respective "mother clubs".

Lastly, Lisa has said that she will welcome anyone that wants to come spend the night and make a day of it. Candy & I are going out to spend the night on Friday night and I believe Robin is coming too so there is 3 or the 4 "Rowdy Rousers" that will be headed for that famous Mexican food down at Spicy Mexico, come join us.. I think the spots are only $25/night...

Weatherford will be running this thing and if you have ever been to one of our playday's, then you know we don't mess around. We will have an absolute blast, but we will keep things moving. I still don't own a horse, so I will be announcing the event and things will be kept moving. Please come out and have some fun and play with us, and thanks to everyone for sharing. Can't wait to see you all. Let's get ready for finals and let's have some fun in the saddle....🤗🤗🤗

Hello favorite people.... Just wanted to give everyone a shout out and thank you for coming out and playing with us on Saturday. Tons of fun and lots of good rides. Always have to thank Josh, and the man upstairs, for the great ground. Josh works his magic and makes it a surefooted, safe place to run our beloved steeds. I know it can get dusty, but that dirt underneath is safe and damp and holds together with no slips, trips or falls. That is our main goal.

Anyway, wanted to thank everyone for being ready to ride and playing along with us. Major props to Lisa for always being by my side when I start to twist off and keeping me sane. Huge huge thanks to the wonderful concession crew. We had lots of hungry people out there and ya'll served up some tasty fixin's... Pat is our resident Concession Queen, but with Candy around, the food gets a little more "spicy". Lol.

We couldn't do what we do without all the amazing help that we get. They say it takes a village and I believe that is the truth. I can keep things moving only because of the crew we have, and your assistance, that is what keeps us on the path. The past 2 playdays we have had over 65 riders, run 5 events AND pole exhibitions and still managed to be done before 7:00. Guys, that is pretty impressive... We all love to playday, but we don't think you need to be out there for 14 hours...

I will be posting a flyer for the next playday which will be August 9th in a few days and be on the lookout for a special flyer for an event on August 23rd. Should be lots of fun. Again, thanks to everyone that steps up and helps out with our events, it doesn't go unnoticed by anyone... Varsi😊😊😊

Hey everyone, I know that our schedule has just been tortured this season with all the rain and rain outs that we have had... Don't get me wrong, I love the rain, but come on!!! Anyway, I am posting a new schedule so you can kind of keep up. It is much like playing a game of whack a mole, but hang in there, it can only get better? Right? LOL
