Hello, I am Amanda Mejia. I am a childbirth educator, stay at home/homeschool reformed Christian mama!

I am here to teach you how to listen to your God given mom gut! I am Amanda, I am a wife, truth loving, mama of 4, and your local childbirth educator. I have had 2 unexpected cesareans and 2 successful vaginal homebirths. For 4 years I have been advocating, teaching, and rooting for moms in their pregnancy, births, through postpartum and in their motherhood. I am a homeschooling/stay at home mother, homeopathic medicine believer, Jesus and wildflower lover, and lover of all things old, vintage, unique, and with a little character. I was and am a young mom and started off with little to no knowledge on how to have a baby, let alone how to take care of my baby, what to expect in those seasons of my life, and how to advocate for myself and family.

Through education, tools and other wise mothers I was able to know what my mom-gut was leading to me do and I am now able to walk confidently on a path that is best for me and my family, and I am so excited to share that with you and to help you do the same!

Workbooks are in for March students!

This workbook, the at home birth prep guides, and a local resource list is a testament of how much time, intentionality, and love I put into making sure you leave having a well rounded educational experience and are feeling equipped for your most impactful journey.

Our March class is completely full but we have open registration for May!

New class coming in HOT!

When: Saturday, May 30th
📍Weatherford, TX
⏰ 9am - 4pm (with an 1 hour lunch)

This is a full comprehensive childbirth education day class that will give you the education, tools, and techniques to confidentially prepare and be ready for your upcoming birth. This is an in-person day class for those who will be expecting to give birth in Mid/late June, in the month of July, and in early August. Couples, hospital births, homebirths, and birth center births are all welcomed. SEATING WILL BE LIMITED and all registrations will be on a first come first served basis.

Topics include:

✨Daily exercises to do to prep for labor.
✨How to make informed decisions.
✨Birth physiology.
✨Birth positions and comfort measures
✨Cesarean Birth/ Gentle Cesarean

Class education, handouts, a local resource list, and class workbooks all included!

Registration and payment are required to secure seat!

This past year was by far my busiest year and I am anticipating it to be the same this year, if not more, Lord willing. 🥰

And between the

✨Stay at home wife and mom duties
✨Homeschool
✨5 kiddos (3 older, 1 toddler, 1 baby)
✨Being only 4 months postpartum
✨Competitive soccer schedule, games, and tournaments

There comes a point where priorities and boundaries need to be put into place to feel sane, enjoy family and friends fully, and provide 100% focus and attention into my TOP and number 1 priorities and each moment they bring.

After a full week of trying out a new schedule in this season of my life, here are my office hours!

Tues - Wed: 1-4pm
Friday: 1-3pm
Saturday: by appointment only.

In these hours I will be responding to questions, emails, processing class registrations, and connecting with other business owners, birth workers, and families. Anything relating to these things that happen outside of these hours will be attended to in a case-by-case situation or the next office day.

This is to just share with you that I am human and I’m trying my best to be a good steward of my time while being transparent and intentional with each moment I have currently. My top priority is the calling, and conviction, that the Lord has given me to be a wife and mother and these boundaries are for me to better serve those roles more efficiently, fully, and undivided.

This past week I had the honor and PLEASURE to introduce myself and what I do for families in our community to .dfw and Fort Worth Birthing Center.

It is always so humbling when people want to work with me and are able to see how much of this work comes from my bones.

Thank you for being present and your continual support! I love working with along side of you! We are a POWERHOUSE team hands down!

Fun fact: one of my students had her baby as the first light broke of the new year and she did AMAZING! I praise the Lord for them and a healthy baby and mama.

The first one is Saturday March 28th in weatherford and registration is open NOW! This is perfect class to take if you are due in between mid/late April and early May. All hospital, birth center births, homebirths, and couples welcomed!

Last weekend was a DREAM! Here are our amazing families from the October 25th group full comprehensive day class!

Working with each of these couples was such an honor!

Also, this was EXTRA special to me because I was 37 weeks and it was officially the last day before going on maternity leave!!
