👁Better prognosis: Early detection and treatment of vision problems can significantly improve a child's visual development and academic performance.

👁Overall health: Eye exams can also detect other health conditions, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, that may not be apparent otherwise.

👁Vision therapy: For some vision problems, like convergence insufficiency, vision therapy can be a very effective treatment option.

Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation is the primary cause of skin cancer — the most common cancer in the United States. It also contributes to premature skin aging, sunburns, and eye conditions.

UV sunglasses protect your eyes from harmful UV radiation, which can cause long-term damage and contribute to eye diseases like cataracts and macular degeneration. Wearing sunglasses that block 99-100% of UVA and UVB rays is crucial, especially between 10 am and 4 pm when UV rays are strongest. 🌞

A child's eyes go through rapid changes, especially in the first six years of life. While vision screenings have become ubiquitous in schools across the country, they aren't enough.

School vision screenings miss up to 75% of children with vision problems. And 61% of the children found to have eye problems through screenings, never visit the doctor or get help. But we are here to help! 🤓

True Vision Optometric Group is a multi-location optometry clinic in Weatherford, OK and Hobart, OK. Our mission is to provide our patients with a truly unique experience, helping you see what truly matters in life. We strive to provide the best possible care for out patients. We want to be able to help provide options to suit your budget while providing the newest technology. If there is something we can do to help you, please let us know!

True Vision was started in 2013 by Dr. Tyson Allard O.D., in Hobart and has since expanded into Weatherford in 2018. Dr. Allard is a native to southwest Oklahoma and enjoys being able to take care of all his patients who are friends, family, neighbors, and so much more to him. Dr. Allard is also an active member in the Air Guard where he serves as Lieutenant Colonel.

Insurance we accept: VSP, EYEMED, VCD, Soonercare, Medicare, Tricare, and most major medical insurance.

Specialities: multifocal contacts, Neurolens, cataract post-op care, and more.
