We kicked off our “Love Is in the Air” lifelong learning theme by exploring love letters from World War II — discovering how words carried hope across distance through messages shared between friends, family, and sweethearts. We even learned how the Victory Mail (V‑Mail) process worked 📬❤️
We wrapped up the day by sharing our own cherished memories of letters we’ve sent and received throughout our lives, then created our very own V‑Mail boxes… except our “V” stood for Valentines!

🌿❄️ Green Thumb Club took a cozy step back in time today!
We shared stories about how families ate through the winter, old-school food preservation, and winter kitchens from around the world. Dorothy stole the show when she told us how she used to crawl under the house to fetch potatoes as a kid 🥔💪—talk about dedication!

We wrapped up the morning by planting onions together, mixing history with hands-in-the-dirt fun and lots of smiles. What a truly sweet and meaningful morning 💚
