📚✏️ Back-to-school season is here—which means new friends, new routines… and unfortunately, more germs! Here are some simple ways to help keep your family healthy this school year:

🧼 Wash hands often (soap & water for 20 seconds!)
😷 Cover coughs and sneezes
🍎 Fuel up with good sleep, healthy food, water, and exercise
🧽 Wipe down backpacks, lunchboxes & devices
💉 Stay up-to-date on vaccines, including flu shots
🤒 Keep sick kids home to rest & recover

Weatherford Regional Hospital has opened its doors to students at Southwestern Oklahoma State University who are part of the new surgical scrub tech program offered by the university.

WRH Chief Executive Officer Darin Farrell spoke of this new program during Monday’s Board of trustees meeting, saying the first few students part of this program have already visited the hospital, where they will be doing clinical practicum work.
