It’s been a busy past few days for all the members of the Fightin’ Roo Band!

Congrats to all 3 bands and a great showing at UIL Concert and Sight-Reading contest! We are especially excited for concert band who hasn’t competed since before Covid!

The winter guard had a fantastic end to their season with some of their highest scores a placements in their respective classifications!

Indoor Percussion is still going strong with NTCA Championships and WGI World Championships coming up in the next few weeks! These kids are working so hard to place well for their first trip to Dayton!

Auditions for next year, leadership tryouts, state solo and ensemble, percussion concert, spring concert, and graduation are fast approaching. Here’s to a great finish to the year!

Congrats to Weatherford HS JV Guard on their 4th place finish at the North Texas Colorguard Association Regional AA Championships today! This group is a mix of MS and HS performers with most having very little experience before this season. They have grown tremendously as performers and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the table next year.

Now to prepare for our showcase performance, varsity championships, and MA nationals this next week!

Our Indoor Drumline has been putting in serious work this season, and it shows.
This group has made consistent podium finishes in the first half of their competition season and they keep getting better.

These students spend hours rehearsing, refining every detail of their show, and representing our school with pride every time they step on the floor.

This weekend they’ll perform again at the WGI Regional in Burleson, and in just a few weeks they’ll travel to Dayton, Ohio for the WGI World Championships to compete on the national stage.

As they are preparing for their trip to Dayton, we are currently seeking community sponsors to help support travel expenses and make this opportunity possible for our students.
