The article highlights improved glottic views, reduced positioning demands, and significantly higher first-pass success rates when using hyperangulated blades. It also covers key human-factors benefits like simplified training and fewer equipment-related errors.

Redefining Success in RSI: Prioritizing Resuscitation over Rapid in EMS

Traditional airway success once focused on first-pass success — but in today’s EMS practice, true success means more than getting the tube.
