I sit with a heavy heart tonight. It has always been a privilege for me to keep my prices as low as I reasonably can. Unfortunately given the current economy I can no longer sustain my business at the previous prices. Effective immediately the new going rates will be as posted. In addition I am no longer providing mobile services with the exception of Oasis Days which must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Standing appointments previously scheduled will be honored at original rates until verbally notified.

What is Raindrop Technique?
The following exert was taken from the page of Wellness for Life Chiropractic out of Cu***ng, GA. (linked below) it should be noted that this description is not mine and the decision to seek this technique should be preceded by research and individual decision making.

"Raindrop Technique® combines the artistry of aromatherapy with the massage.

The Raindrop Technique is a method of using a combination of reflexology, aromatherapy, massage techniques, and essential oils applied on your spine and on the feet. High quality essential oils are placed on the reflex points on the feet where the spine is represented. The Raindrop Technique is designed to bring balance to the body with its relaxing and mild application. The Raindrop Technique is a gentle application of essential oils and massage without using hard pressure or trying to force the body to change, which should never be done.

Everybody responds to the Raindrop technique differently, and what works for one may not work for another. We try to be sensitive to the person we are working on so that you can get the most out of the Raindrop Technique as you can. Most people feel relaxed during the process. After the Raindrop Massage Technique you may feel more energetic or relaxed. It depends on you and what your body needs at that time. The Raindrop Technique also helps align the energy centers of the body and helps release them if blocked. You will receive the benefits of healing hands and oils as the the Raindrop Technique is applied.

During the Raindrop Technique you will start by lying face-up on the massage table. The body should be as straight as possible with the hips flat on the table. The arms can be resting along the side of the body or over the edge of the table. The Raindrop Technique uses a layering process of 9 different Young Living therapeutic/medicinal grade essential oils applied to the feet and spine. The combination of these oils, and the application of moist warm towels to the spine and back, allows the oils to pe*****te your body quickly and start their therapeutic process on a cellular level.

Essential oils used during the Raindrop Technique:

Valor (blend): cleanses the energy field, aligns and balances
Oregano: attacks viruses and bacteria
Thyme: attacks viruses and bacteria
Basil: anti-spasmodic, headache relief
Cypress: increases circulation
Wintergreen: anti-inflammatory/anti-spasmodic, analgesic (pain reliever)
Marjoram: relaxes musculature, lowers blood pressure
Peppermint: anti-spasmodic, assists in "pushing" in all other oils
Aroma Siez (blend): relaxing & soothing
Raindrop Technique has been known to increase the immune system, relieve back issues, and to create balance and harmony in the body - physically, mentally, and emotionally. Raindrop Technique focuses the healing essence of the essential oils directly to the spinal column where it is believed that viruses and bacteria lie dormant until the immune system weakens. The oils create an environment that is not hospitable to these “foreign” agents in our bodies and causes them to be eliminated naturally.

Raindrop Technique is also an effective detoxification and can assist you in eliminating symptoms associated with cold and flu and other common conditions.

Raindrop Technique is a very gentle therapy and offers you the opportunity to completely relax while improving your overall well being on all levels.

Some people ask, "How long does the Raindrop Technique application last?". This depends as everybody responds differently. In general, the healthier you are along with the proper diet, exercise and a good mental attitude will help. One Raindrop Technique may last months for one person, but then for another it may be necessary to have the application done every week until the body begins to respond. The key is to retrain the body. In some cases, you will have to develop a new retention in the tissue in order for the body to stay where it should be. This may take a few weeks or even a year or longer."

We offer Raindrop Massage Technique which combines the artistry of aromatherapy and massage.

Found this posted in a group and thought it is too brilliant not to share.

If you are ever lost while hiking, get stranded with a broken down car, etc... and you notice your cell phone is either low on juice or has no signal, here is a tip that very well may save your life.

Change the voicemail on your phone to a message that gives your approximate location, the time, the date, your situation (lost, out of gas, car broken down, injured, etc...) and any special instructions such as you are staying with the car, you are walking toward a town, etc.... The best part of this is that even if your cell phone dies or stops working, voicemail still works, so anyone calling your phone looking for you will hear the message and know where to find you or where to send help.

Share this and pass it on.

As a child and adolescent therapist, I cringe when I see children in restaurants watching TV on their parents’ phones. Babies in grocery baskets are often engaged by I-pads instead of the sights and sounds around them. Teens in cars so rarely look out the windows while riding that they are afraid to drive because they don’t know how to get around in their own towns. We are stunting an entire generation. By not allowing our kids to experience the slightest period of boredom, we deny them the chance to learn to self-soothe or to discover their own imagination. If my childhood best friend and I were inside playing video games, we never would have hollowed out the big bush in our backyard to make a clubhouse. We never would have dug up my parents’ garden with spoons looking for buried treasures. How sad that would be, because those are my favorite memories of my childhood.
“I find myself worrying most that when we hand our children phones, we steal their boredom from them. As a result, we are raising a generation of writers who will never start writing, artists who will never start doodling, young chefs who will never make a mess in their kitchen, athletes who will never kick a ball against the wall, musicians who will never pick up their dad’s guitar and start strumming.” (Glennon Doyle)
Instead, we will create another generation of socially stunted young adults who are depressed, physically unhealthy and lacking motivation, imagination, and social skills.
Electronics serve a purpose, but are being abused by parents and children alike. Please do your kids a favor and teach them to live in the moment. Sometimes, turn the electronics off.
