We have more guns up for raffle!!!! In addition to the 300 Blackout from Millers Towing, we have two Silver Eagle shotguns up for grabs (one 12ga and one 20ga) courtesy of Sargent’s Wrecker Service, and a MAC Double Stack 9mm from Off Duty Excavation!

Thank you to our friends from Millers, Sargents, and Off Duty for their donations. And thank you to Gibson’s helping us get the guns. We are excited to raffle off these guns TONIGHT Oct 29 at Shepp’s in Weatherford, 4pm-8pm. $25 a raffle ticket. All proceeds benefit the family of Officer Eric Warren

Join Local 3823 this Wednesday, October 29th, at Shepp’s Place in Weatherford as we get together to celebrate the life and career of Eric Warren. Eric recently passed after a battle with cancer. Members of WPFFA spent quite a bit of time with Officer Warren, especially those stationed at 4’s, where Eric often stopped by to shoot the breeze, or “rest his eyes”.

To raise money for Eric’s family, we will be raffling off a gun courtesy of Millers Towing.
This event is open to the public and we encourage everyone to attend. Anyone wishing to donate or business that would like to be involved, we are 501(c)(3) and would welcome any support. Send a private message to get in contact.

Raffle tickets will be sold in person 4pm-8pm. Can’t wait to see everyone there!

A big heartfelt thank you to everyone who support our crawfish boil! We were able to raise money for our fellow firefighter and have a great time doing it. We hope to see all of you at the 2nd annual crawfish boil next year.

WPFFA Local 3823 is teaming up with Antebellum Ale House again for a fundraiser for one of our Weatherford firefighters. Matt Charles is a 14 year member of the department and was diagnosed with colon cancer last year. While receiving treatment, he has been unable to work. We are raising money to help Matt with medical expenses incurred during treatment. All funds donated will go straight to Matt and are 501(c)(3) tax exempt.

There will be 600 pounds of crawfish as well as all of the fixins' to go with, Live Music by The Fire Choir, a Silent Auction, a Raffle, and T-Shirts for sale. If you would like to donate money or items for the Auction/Raffle, please contact Ryan Chegwidden at 254-592-4418.

Local 3823 is once again hosting a fundraiser for a former City of Weatherford employee, Jamison Voss. Jamison is a recent amputee and has been struggling with multiple infections and complications from a previous accident. We are hoping to raise funds to assist with getting her a prosthetic as well as cover medical expenses. Fortunately, we were able to team up with Antebellum Ale House again to make this possible. We have sponsorship opportunities available as well as t-shirt sales, live music, raffles, and a silent auction. Today one of our members house burned down. Roy Vernon, who has been in the fire service for 13 years, and his two twin sons are in need of our help. For anyone wishing to donate, the association has created a GoFund Me that will go directly to them. If anyone is has support to offer outside of that you can message us to coordinate. We appreciate all of the members of our community that we have the privilege of serving.
