WPFFA Local 3823 is teaming up with Antebellum Ale House again for a fundraiser for one of our Weatherford firefighters. Matt Charles is a 14 year member of the department and was diagnosed with colon cancer last year. While receiving treatment, he has been unable to work. We are raising money to help Matt with medical expenses incurred during treatment. All funds donated will go straight to Matt and are 501(c)(3) tax exempt.

There will be 600 pounds of crawfish as well as all of the fixins' to go with, Live Music by The Fire Choir, a Silent Auction, a Raffle, and T-Shirts for sale. If you would like to donate money or items for the Auction/Raffle, please contact Ryan Chegwidden at 254-592-4418.

Local 3823 is once again hosting a fundraiser for a former City of Weatherford employee, Jamison Voss. Jamison is a recent amputee and has been struggling with multiple infections and complications from a previous accident. We are hoping to raise funds to assist with getting her a prosthetic as well as cover medical expenses. Fortunately, we were able to team up with Antebellum Ale House again to make this possible. We have sponsorship opportunities available as well as t-shirt sales, live music, raffles, and a silent auction. If you're interested in sponsoring this event, please send us a message and we can help raise money for Jamison together! Today one of our members house burned down. Roy Vernon, who has been in the fire service for 13 years, and his two twin sons are in need of our help. For anyone wishing to donate, the association has created a GoFund Me that will go directly to them. If anyone is has support to offer outside of that you can message us to coordinate. We appreciate all of the members of our community that we have the privilege of serving.

Please join us on April 27th, from 2-4pm at the Weatherford Public Library for a Sensory Friendly Touch a Truck! Our firefighters will be joined by Parker County Hospital District, Weatherford Police Department, Weatherford Public Works, and AirEvac!
This event is open to any and all! We hope to see you there!
