Dear Friends, Im not normally on Facebook but just wanted to hop on here to let you know I am safe in London. Vinit is at home at Samasati in Asheville and he is safe; fortunately we live on higher ground. We have some trees down and the yome is ruined. But the devastation in Asheville from Hurricane Helena is heart wrenching. Praying for those that live near a river or lake. Right now I am praying that our friends and community have access to food and water, and that the power and services come back on again soon. It's gonna be awhile before life looks anything like normal. I can't imagine how our beloved mountain home is going to look when I arrive there. Im postponing my flight until I know that Asheville airport is open again..

Kelsey Moseley is helping you break through to creative play in her workshop during our Interbeing Festival! Through rhythm and off beat utensils, the creative spirit soars with play and letting go of expectations. We discover that we all have a creative artist inside, ready to be invited.

Kelsey Moseley is a Teaching Artist and Visual Arts Curator with LEAF Global Arts. Kelsey brings a holistic, hands-on approach to experiencing and teaching art, using it as a bridge connecting people and creative expression.

Keith McDade is Director of the Applied Climate Studies program at Warren Wilson College, covering climate science, communication, climate justice, policy, leadership and more. He has lived in Asheville for the past 12 years.

We will explore local environmental, community, and sustainability issues in the region as well as strategies for enhancing our caring for the natural world, each other, and ourselves. This interactive session will highlight the climate crisis and
intersecting issues of concern.

The Interbeing Festival's Tea Ceremony with Elowan is an opportunity to pause, reflect and come together in community to commune with the sacred Tea plant. We will have the chance to meditate, contemplate and share reflections while sharing tea.

Elowan is a ceremonialist, healer and guide here to support reconnection - to ourselves, each other, and our planet. He loves creating intentional spaces for people to connect and drop deeper into knowing themselves.
