I have to post this in honor of my spouse, Dr. Allan Redash, because if he had a motto in life, I think this just may be it!!!! He's so passionate about his work and his patients, but such a goofball otherwise 🤣

SO true! If we like you, we'll teach you and guide you and help you. If you act like an ass or have a God complex, you can sink or swin on your own, baby!!

A fresh MD once asked me for the single most valuable advice to survive and thrive during internship.
Six years of medical training later, my answer has never changed:
👉 Pay attention to the nurses.
They’ve seen more than you can imagine, they know the rhythms of the ward, and they’ll catch things you might miss.
Their experience isn’t just support — it’s a lifeline.
Respect their knowledge, trust their instincts, and you’ll become a better doctor because of it. 🩺✨

When everything feels overwhelming, they’ll be the ones guiding you through the storm.
When your confidence shakes, their calm presence will anchor the team.
They don’t just work beside you — they shape you.
The best doctors are the ones who learn to listen, collaborate, and respect the nurses who stand on the frontline every single day.
💙 Real teamwork saves lives.

Hey gang, has anyone ever had to pay money up front at Lab Corp for a blood draw? They just had one of our patients pay a $100 "copay" and I have never heard of this happening before. To top it off, they totally screwed up the order and she will have to go back. 🤬
Thanks in advance for the info.

So much has been done. So much remains to be done. It's hard to believe. Sending love and prayers to all who have lost so much: loved ones, homes, businesses, possessions, pets, hope...we've lived a full year under this cloud. Glad to have "the anniversary"over, which is a recurrent theme. But don't worry, we still SEE you and we are still here...♥️

ACOG reaffirms the safety and benefits of acetaminophen use during pregnancy.
More than two decades of research have found no causal link between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in children. Acetaminophen continues to be an important and safe option for managing pain and fever in pregnancy—conditions that can pose serious risks to pregnant patients and their fetuses if left untreated. Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We reflect on the courage of first responders, the resilience of survivors, and the unity that brought us together in the face of tragedy.

Though years have passed, the memory remains vivid. We will never forget the heroes, the families, and all those affected. Let us continue to stand together in hope, strength, and compassion.

Teri here. OK, so, it is actually "National Hot Flash Day"! I had no idea that this was a thing. Do I say "happy national hot flash day"?! I think not! Have a cool hot flash day everybody. I watched women come to us with menopausal symptoms for years and never really "got it". But NOW I do! Thank God for BHRT!! 🤣
