It is operated by Dr. Suzanne Dansereau LAc MD who provides a person-focused, individualized healing practice. I have training in both Eastern and Western Medicine. I am both a licensed MD and LAc, which is rare if not unique in the Asheville area. I have graduated from med school, a family practice residency program, an acupuncture for physicians training course, as well as a 4 year Classical Chinese Medical School. I am board-certified in the NCCAOM. I will spend all the time necessary to understand you and your concerns.

🌿Meet Dr. Suzanne Dansereau:

Dr. Suzanne Dansereau started her career as a healer upon graduating from the University of Michigan in 1988. She has been working with patients for the past 34 years across Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Dr. Dansereau completed the Helms Acupuncture for Physicians course in 2005. She then went on to complete a four year degree at the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese medicine located in Boone, North Carolina. She graduated from this program in 2013. Dr. Dansereau then went on to become board certified in acupuncture by the NCCAOM ( National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) in 2013.

Dr. Dansereau opened her acupuncture practice in 2014 and has been serving Buncombe county and surrounding areas for the past 11 years. Her depth of knowledge allows her to treat a wide variety of medical concerns with acupuncture on an individualized basis.

I am located in Weaverville but have seen patients from the Asheville, Mars Hill, Burnsville, Marshall, Black Mountain, Waynesville, Mills River, Hendersonville and other areas as well as patients from Tennessee.

I have training in both Eastern and Western Medicine. I am both a licensed MD and LAc, which is rare if not unique in the Asheville area. I have graduated from med school, a family practice residency program, an acupuncture for physicians training course, as well as a 4 year Classical Chinese Medical School. I am board-certified in the NCCAOM.

I love bringing Classical Chinese Medicine into mainstream modern day healthcare, not simply as something on the side to dabble in out of curiosity, or to go to as a place of last resort, but as an accessible and valid powerful system of healing.
